I grew up watching a family business sustain us economically while consuming our time, presence, and life together.

Born in Cuba, I arrived in Miami after years of separation — eleven years after my father crossed the ocean on a raft to build a future for us. My family's resilience built a convenience store that fed us, but also absorbed everything else.

For more than 18 years, I've been an accountant working alongside business owners across many industries — watching the same pattern play out again and again. The business that was supposed to provide freedom became the thing that consumed it.

Then in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, my son was born. I quit my corporate job to be a present mother.

I didn't set out to start a business. People started looking for me — for help with their numbers, their systems, their decisions. A few months in, I was working more than I had been at my corporate job.

The day everything changed, I was at my desk. QuickBooks open on one screen, an Excel spreadsheet on another. Baby Shark playing on a loop to keep my eight-month-old son entertained while I worked. I looked into his eyes — and I saw the same need I had carried as a little girl. The need to be seen. To be present with. To matter more than whatever was on the screen.

In that moment, I made a conscious decision: I would not repeat the pattern. I would build a different kind of business — profitable and structured, but aligned with life. Where success didn't require disappearing from what matters or living in constant urgency.

It took years. Over $200,000 invested in programs, masterminds, courses, coaches, and consultants. I assembled the integrated system one piece at a time — Profit First, Clockwork, conscious leadership — until the pieces became one operating system.

Today, my firm has generated over $1 million in 5 years while I work fewer than 30 hours per week, lead a remote team, and remain fully present as a mother. I built my business the way I teach others to build theirs.
